Draft for internal review — to be finalised with counsel before launch
Numera Technologies OÜ is a software company. We develop and license algorithmic trading software that we also use ourselves. We are not a broker, exchange, custodian, fund, asset manager, portfolio manager or financial advisor, and we are not registered or licensed in any such capacity. We do not accept deposits, do not hold or control client funds or digital assets, and do not trade on anyone's behalf.
No financial advice
Nothing on this website, in our software, documentation, emails, calls or any other communication is investment, financial, legal, accounting or tax advice, nor is it a recommendation, endorsement, solicitation or offer to buy, sell or hold any instrument, or to adopt any trading strategy. We do not assess whether trading, the software, any configuration or any venue is suitable or appropriate for you. You should form your own view and, if in doubt, obtain independent professional advice before acting.
No guarantee of results
We make no representation, warranty, promise, projection or guarantee of profit, income, return, win rate, drawdown limit or any other outcome. Any performance information we publish — including the third-party tracked record available on Myfxbook — is a historical record of accounts we operate ourselves, under our own settings, capital, venue and market conditions. Past performance is not indicative of future results. Your results will differ and may be materially worse, including a total loss.
Substantial risk of loss
Trading financial instruments and digital assets carries a high level of risk and is not suitable for all persons. Prices can move sharply, gap, and become illiquid. Where leverage is used, losses can exceed the amount initially committed and positions may be liquidated. You could lose all of your capital. Never trade with money you cannot afford to lose entirely, and never with borrowed funds or capital required for essential living costs.
Automated systems carry additional risks
Automated execution is exposed to failures beyond market risk, including exchange or API outages, rate limiting, connectivity or power loss, latency and slippage, incorrect or extreme user configuration, data errors, changes in venue rules or fees, regulatory action, and software defects. A rule set calibrated to historical conditions may perform differently, or fail, when conditions change. Automation removes manual effort — it does not remove risk.
You remain in control and responsible
The software runs on an account you open, own and control, using trade-only API credentials that you create and can revoke at any time. You choose whether to run it, on what capital, with what limits, and for how long. You are responsible for monitoring your account, for your own compliance, taxes and reporting, and for the consequences of your decisions. We have no discretionary authority over your account and no ability to withdraw or transfer your funds.
Third-party venues
Running the software requires a compatible trading venue. Naming a required venue is a statement of technical compatibility only — it is not an endorsement, recommendation, referral or assurance regarding that venue, its solvency, security or conduct. Your relationship with any venue is solely between you and them, on their terms, and we accept no liability for their acts or omissions.
Jurisdiction
The software is not offered where its use or promotion would be unlawful or would require authorisation we do not hold. It is your responsibility to confirm you may lawfully use it where you are.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for trading losses, lost profits or lost opportunity arising from use of the software or reliance on any information we publish. Full terms, including liability limits, are set out in our Terms & Conditions and in your licence agreement, which prevails.
